Hi! I’m Chasity.

Think of me as your bougie, wine-loving cousin who does her best to put you on to the most delicious wines out there.

Let’s toast it up!

A 'Lil Fizz' Lesson: No Fine Print Has The Perfect White Wine For Summertime

A 'Lil Fizz' Lesson: No Fine Print Has The Perfect White Wine For Summertime

You see what I did there?

A few days ago, I tweeted that I had found the perfect summer wine AND it comes in a can.

Well, the time has come for me to share it and I hope that you truly give it a try. No Fine Print’s Lil Fizz (no relation to the curly-head, light-skinned rapper from B2K) is bright, effervescent, and pretty much a ray of sunshine in can.

The same day I received Lil Fizz in the mail, I serendipitously met the New York brand manager (what up, Steven!) for No Fine Print and had a great chat with him during a rooftop happy hour in Midtown. He told me the unique story of how Lil’ Fizz was conceived, and why this wine will pretty much get you through all the summer picnics, cookouts, and kickbacks. He then sent a text to the founder of No Fine Print Wine (hi Pat!), who then put me on No Fine Print’s IG story and now, we all friends.

But seriously, here’s the 411 on Lil’ Fizz and why I think it’s the perfect white wine for the summer:

  • It’s light and fun, yet flavorful with a little bubbly sensation - hence the name. Lil’ Fizz is 77% Sauvignon Blanc, 16% Chardonnay and 7% rose of Pinot Noir - all grapes grown in California wine country. This unique blend also gives you a well-rounded mouth flavor - one that I was not expecting from a canned wine. The fizz comes as a result of the skin being left on the grapes during winemaking. (This also gives the wine a light orange tint, too - YUM!)

  • It comes in a pack of four at 12% ALC. per can. You and three of your homies can each have a can and trust me, you’ll be nice. That’s it. That’s the point.

  • Finally, it comes in a cute orange can! No corks, no bottles, easy cleanup. YOU’RE WELCOME

At $20 per pack, you’re bound to pay the same price for a nice bottle of wine that you’d get from your local wine shop - and you get a little more bang for your buck.

It’s not available everywhere just yet, but I’ve found a few places in and near Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City where you can cop a four-pack of your own:

If none of these places are near your ‘hood, then I don’t know what to tell you, friend…I’m just kidding! They have a fully interactive map where you can find the location nearest you.

Cheers, y’all!
